Bepolar by Ours Samplus

This album never fails to help me feel more ok. Like an old friend you can check in with once in a while. My music taste depends heavily on my mood. If I’m seeking catharsis I’ll listen to Death Grips, Clipping or JPEG Mafia. There’s nothing like the release of heavy music when you’re going through it. Ours Samplus is not that, it’s more akin elevator music. It gets out of your way but is still noticeable. It’s subtle. It’s a mellow hiphop/jazzy vibe. This album is a reminder that there exists a possibility for stillness and softness.
