On Whimsy

On my eternal quest to cut back on caffeine I have made a discovery. I think I like the ritual of making coffee or tea more than the actual beverage. So recently, I’ve been boiling a kettle and then pouring hot water into my fairness cup and then into one of my little tea cups. It mimics the act of brewing tea without the caffeine. It’s kind of a silly thing to do… but I’ve been enjoying it immensely.
