2010 Bulang Mountain Ripe Pu-erh Tea Mini Tuo

The Yunnan Sourcing 2010 Bulang ripe mini has a nice woody and medicinal flavor. It has a deeper flavor than some of the ripes i’ve had. Overall, I enjoyed this one immensely.

The one drawback of the tea is that since it is compressed into small tuos, it creates a lot of annoying small chunks of leaf when brewed gong fu style. The mini tuo definitely lends itself to grandpa style brewing. As a grandpa style tea it excels.

NOTE: From now on I’ll only review teas once I’ve finished them. This way I’ll have a proper depth and understanding of the tea.
