Book Mentioned

Substack

My main substack interests are buddhism and lesbianism.

Maddy Court

Maddy Court’s substack consistently turns out good advice on queer relationships. I enjoy reading her newsletter and she has good takes. Her column kind of just feels like a hug.

Grace Perry

Dyke Drop consistently makes me laugh and she makes these funny butch/femme top/bottom alignment memes.

Leather Dyke stuff

Dead but delicious- Femme leatherdyke daddy writing on her experciences in the community.

David - Transmasc leatherdyke also writes fiction and stuff.

Buddhism stuff

Cuckfucius - Cuckfucius is like self help for buddhists. I don’t really believe in the self so it’s not self help but you get the idea.

Sasha Chopin - His article about how meditation shouldn’t feel bad was pretty helpful for me. He writes a lot about meditation experiences which is good insight as a lay practitioner.

Meaningness - I’m still coming to terms with David Chapman’s theory of metarationality. I think it’s makes a lot of sense and feels important but also it’s fairly academic and hard to parse. Also his Buddhism for Vampires is a banger.

Rationalists

I find rationalism kind of dumb and stupid but they tend to make pretty good writers so I do read Slate Star Codex and Ozy Brennan.
